River Horse Mobile Safaris is guided by Phetogo "Pat" Malatsi, with the dream of sharing the magic of Botswana with similar-minded travelers, explorers & by contributing to nature conservation and the cultural heritage of the region.
Phetogo "Pat" Malatsi is a veteran of many safaris with a successful career in guiding at both the luxury lodges as well as mobile safaris under canvas. Born and bred in the Okavango Delta and growing up on the Boro River and the inner delta village of Xaxaba, Pat grew up surrounded by pristine wilderness. Pat hails from a family of Professional guides including his Grand Father, Father and Uncles.
